New Zealand is perhaps the world’s best country for Camper van travel. The Camper van Hire infrastructure and services are very well established. There is always room for improvement but overall NZ provides everything you need for a successful Camper van Hire Holiday. The network of campgrounds, holiday parks and wilderness campsites is fantastic and suits everyone's needs. Almost every town and village provide at least one secure campground. Every settlement has it’s public toilet facility, which means, you may not even need to use your camper van toilet. Of course all campgrounds and holiday parks feature toilets, showers and cooking facilities as well. Should you plan to travel during the main peak season, December to February, I recommend booking your Camper van Hire New Zealand well in advance. The majority of hire camper vans and rental motorhomes are fully booked over the peak season by early November. To make the most of special offers, like early booking discounts, I advise booking your Camper van Hire at least 150 days before your planned holiday.
